Ok it’s all systems go once again after a brief ‘no update’ period.
Hope you are all well?

Anyway………. as you can see there have been some new photos taken of us! And don’t we all look very pretty? Probably not but you get my optimism.

Firstly 30th July at the glorious nightnday! we’re supporting a band all the way from America called: Arbouretum! As ever nightnday will put on a gooooood night for all!

Flyers will be crafted from the hands of angels soon….keep em peeled.

Then…..SEPTEMBER?! the 10th (ages i know!) we’re playing at Ruby Lounge supporting the much touted We Have Band (what? they just won the Glasto cometition and get to play there 4 times? that’s pretty cool) this too will be heavily flyered and we’ll endeavour to keep you abreast of the situation.

How about that ! 2 gigs…….but there shall be more, it seems a recent blog by Owen has sparked a mass rush of offers! excellent…. i’ll update that also…..will my work ever end?

Ok other stuff……….photos (obviously) recording some NEWW songs, which are rather excellent, some NEWW songs have been written also….come and watch them shake you silly!

T-Shirts! they too have been almost finalised! So you can wear your favourite (!?) band’s t-shirt proudly and tell your friends who the coolest cat’s are (again: !?!)

Also….if anyone is interested there shall be a special secret even happening on the 28th July at Cafe Saki…it’s Owen’s birthday amongst other things that night!
Come! it may well be free? who knows, i know this much though – it will be most excellent.

Hot diggedy damn

You’ll have to excuse the hot diggedy damn statement, but the gig at Ruby lounge on the 27th May has been cancelled. very sorry, but with Man Utd being rather excellent our gig clashes with this date and has been cancelled for popularity reasons.

It shall be rescheduled! never fear.

So for now it’s writing and rehearsing – which is no bad thing, and mere hours ago we ‘finished’ something. hell yes.

All that’s left to say is: We are now on Twitter
so if you want to follow our ramblings you can do it on a daily basis over there. hmm.
oh and we’re gonna record the legendary ‘Lonely Janitor’ in the near future so keep em peeled. oh and gigs.

Hai!

so we’ve got a couple of gigs coming up! ushering in the new era with Scott! fun fun.

firstly (and at a price we all love) we’re playing THIS SATURDAY at Kro bar on Oxford Road (opposite the academy) we’re playing with Empty Set and Deaf to Van Gogh’s Ear – who’s EP launch it is. they also have some ‘suprises’ whatever they are, come on it’s free! and there’s ‘surprises’!

then a couple of weeks later we’re playing at the Ruby Lounge for a brand new night called ‘Creatures we Like at the Moment’ it has the excellent Ciaran Cullen from WOTGODFORGOT involved so it’s sure to be packed with good bands and plenty of people. this one is around £5. I’ll get some flyers up quick style.

So there you have it. 2 new gigs!

There shall be more in the near future…..

Yes yes y’all!

If you click right HERE you can read an article on the Manchester Evening News website all about us! How about that!?? That is unless you’ve got a copy of the paper at home and you can just read that instead.

Also……the long promised new tunes are up on the old Myspace page so have a clickedy click over there and check them out! Owen also did an hillarious blog too so it’s a full on internet experience over there right now….

Not sure what we’re gonna do with the new tracks yet, maybe get them out in the real world where people walk around and buy expensive shirts and things? we’ll see.

Anyway !Big Up! to the awesome Joe Meekums for doin the tunes for us! Much appreciated

Erm ok, we’ve got a new bass player!

Scott Mitchell – or “who’s that guy with his eyes closed in the picture Wes?” He’s super cool and takes no sh!t when it comes to tax – not sure if that makes him any cooler though, but it’s a fact!

So yeah Scott in – Rich out. But fare not Rich will be bowing out on Wednesday so you can shed a tear with the rest of us and watch his ‘angry face’ goin crazy for one last time……you’ll probably catch him around though as he’s in about 4 million ‘angry’ bands.

ok i’m off now, just made some chicken nuggets ! i’ll let you know how they go!

Howdy Dudie?

Hello Hello.

As you can see we’ve had a bit of a shuffle of the pack here, mainly because i can’t stand still. Hopefully it looks a little better? than before? you can write in if you like. Hey all the links work so that’s something no?

Anyways, we have been asked to do a little thing for the MEN! Not the sex ‘men’ but the wonderful newspaper that is the staple of manchester? heh.
All in all this mena we should be frequenting the pages of the paper in the coming days in line for our gig……………..on April 1st………..plug!

Come down! as you may have heard it’s Rich’s last bassing before leaving us – but fear not, we have sourced our replacement and all is going well so far! lets just hope he loves us enough to commit and get the official band tattoo (really?)

Ok then…..

These things happened to us:
Mike grew / shed his beard into an awesome cowboy/ten pin bowler style. let’s hope he keeps it for the gig eh? Owen hatched plans for about a million things(again) – this time whilst being heckled by the homeless. And i was a victim of iPod theft – bastards. So i defied the credit crunch and bought another one! you gonna do that tracksuit boy? eh?

Tatty bye……i won’t bore you with more promises of new music, but i’m hopeful.

As the keen eyed/eared amongst you may have seen/heard……Rich has left the band, which made us all very sad.

It’s all good though we’re all still the best of friends..

Rich will be playing at the gig on the 1st April at Retro Bar with the awesome Aucan all the way from Italy! So you can all see his angry singing face and comical misunderstanding of lyrics with us for one last time! Cool.

The hunt is on for a new bassist – we move pretty quickly around these here parts, so there will be an announcement fairly soon all being well…

Also we have heard close to final mixes of Engine and Tonight We’ll Find Out which will be ready in the very near future so all is not lost as they are sounding big!!

We’re all very positive and have plenty of big plans for the coming months, so keep your ear to the ground.
