It’s been a while, i’m extremely sorry about my abscence, but i’ve been enjoying the World Cup.
There has been more going on than just World Cup watching, oh yeah. I’ll list some stuff eh?
We did an acoustic session for this excellent website Manchester Scenewipe on friday- it’s our first adventure into the acoustic realm as WTK and we even used a Glokenspiel ! Take that Rock n Roll.
We’ve finally confirmed our London return at The Lexington in Islington – apparently we’re playing with the awesome Grammatics! More info to follow, but it’s gonna be one party not to miss. Mainly cos Owen’s ever growing hair will be present, and maybe some HD recording devices.
Before this we are playing Sound Control in Manchester on Thursday 15th July with Letters to Fiesta, i’ve never been in there before – well not since it’s not been a shop, gotta be an excuse to check out this new place no? yeah?
ALSO! My bad self (Wes) and Ed shall be DJ’ing our minds out at the Purple Turtle in Camden it’s all in the name of charity too so please come and help a good cause! We promise to only play songs that make you shake. If anyone requests ‘Whip it‘ i’ll definately play it too.
We’re also booked into the studio again to record the hell out of some music that we wrote, August infact, infact (twice?) it’s the same day we’re playing a super secret house party gig! Hit us up if you want to come, it’ll be like an acid haus situation – i’ll ring a phone box and you’d better answer alright?
What else has happened? Mike held a party, i got assaulted repeatedly on a football pitch, Owen decided not to go to bed, and Ed still didn’t clean up the peanuts he spilt in my car. Oh and Scott decided that Stockport is better than Manchester
